Sam Burns:
Coming from a theatre background Sam cut his acting teeth at Cygnet Training Theatre. He has performed in the West End and received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Torvald with Cygnet Training Theatre’s 2013 production of A Doll’s House. He has also appeared in a Rowntrees commercial for Channel 4, Circle of Spears' first theatrical production, Witch, written by fellow spear Tracey Norman and the second, Outside of the Box, which he wrote. Sam's narration credits include The Vampire's Tomb Mystery, The Rocks of Aserol, various stories in Jonathan Green's Sharkpunk anthology for Circle of Spears as well as The House of Courtenay by Chris Tetreault-Blay and The Sign in the Moonlight by David Tallerman. He is currently recording Tales of the Apt: Spoils of War by Adrian Tchaikovsky

Tracey Norman:
Tracey is an actress and voice artiste with 28 years of acting experience. She has performed a wide variety of stage roles including Miss Julie (Miss Julie), Bathsheba Everdene (Far From the Madding Crowd), Nursie (Blackadder), May Hassal (Accrington Pals) and the Hon. Gwendolen Fairfax (The Importance of Being Earnest). Television work includes Broadchurch (Kudos), The Coroner (BBC), Lady Macbeth in Devon Made’s audio production, Mary Smith in Run for Your Wife (stage) and Nan in Substance and Shadow Theatre's 2016 tour of their original show Skin Deep. She has voiced a Christmas radio appeal for the Donkey Sanctuary and has most recently narrated Phillipa Bowers's The Dark Well of Glastonbury for Circle of Spears, due for release later this year. Tracey narrates our popular title Traditional Witchcraft by Gemma Gary and has a long list of Audible credits as a freelance narrator. She also wrote and appears in WITCH, an original play for Circle of Spears, which had its world premiere in the library at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, Cornwall in 2016. The show is currently being booked by universities as Theatre In Education and has led Tracey on to a number of related side projects, including a book based on her research.

Mark trained in Television Production at Ravensbourne School of TV and Broadcasting and worked for a time in the industry before returning to his home county of Devon and forming his own small production company. He is also a folklore researcher and contracted author. Mark has 30 years of stage acting experience and has also voiced a number of audio books and plays. He has won a variety of production awards for his film work. Much of Mark's recent work is available on Audible. For Circle of Spears he has provided the male voices for Traditional Witchcraft and narrated the sci-fi quartet Starship Seasons by Eric Brown and Forgotten Things for Stephen Mullaney-Westwood.
