We were recently invited back to the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle to bring the show to a group of students from Exeter University. We had a great post-performance discussion!
The Museum has asked us to bring WITCH back during the summer, so we will post the dates as soon as they are agreed. It is always wonderful to take the play back to its spiritual home, so we're really looking forward to it! Photo by Marion Gibson:

Myself and my 12 year old daughter went to watch WITCH on 5.5.19. She said - best history lesson ever, I wish my teachers taught like that. WITCH is a powerful and wonderful production that makes you think about, and question, the attitude and perceptions of people long past and how accusations, and executions, could happen on the word of one or more people. The performances and costumes make you feel like you are having a sneak peek into history. What helps make the production so authentic is the studious dedication to the research into the characters which results in a spell-binding production.

AuthorWITCH is the first new, original play by Circle of Spears. Written by company member Tracey Norman, it saw its world premiere at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, Cornwall in July 2016, the first piece of live theatre ever to be performed in the museum library. Archives
